100th Day of School!
Ice Storm 2014 - This storm came much faster than meteorologists thought. School was dismissed early, but it wasn't early enough. All of Atlanta hit the roads at the same time to try to make it home, causing the WORST traffic jam ever! After sitting in the same spot on Chastain Road for 4.5 hours with no food, drink, bathroom, or battery life on her phone, Daddy realized Mommy wasn't going to make it home, so she went back the opposite direction and stayed at Honey and Pop's house for the night. It was a good decision, because people were leaving their cars and walking miles to get to their homes. That wouldn't have been a good idea for a pregnant Mommy. Grammy and Grampa got stranded all night long, and ended up staying the rest of the night in a Publix! Here's what it looked like the next day when Daddy's friend picked Mommy up in his 4-wheel-drive truck and brought her home:
